I am a commerce graduate with an MBA, and also a CS dropout as I didn’t clear the 2nd level exam. Despite being an average student throughout, I felt lost and clueless while searching for a job in accounting. Unexpectedly, I landed in consulting to secure a job. Fortunately (or unfortunately), I was hired as an HR recruiter instead of an accountant, and thus began my journey. Surprisingly, I found myself drawn to the profession and embarked on a career in HR recruitment in 2015.
After five years on the job, I realized that I didn’t enjoy the pressure and the relentless 9 AM to 9 PM routine. Feeling the need for change, I decided to start something on my own. While working full-time, I dabbled in content creation by making YouTube videos. However, in 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I lost my job as the company downsized and with this, my passion for content creation grew.

In November 2020, I landed a full-time opportunity as a Recruitment Team Lead. Initially excited about the prestigious designation and attractive package, I soon realised that I had made a mistake. The pressure and grueling 12-hour workdays took a toll on my well-being. Consequently I had to put my YouTube journey on hold. In 2022, I became pregnant and started contemplating my future. The thought of returning to the same stressful job after having a baby seemed unbearable. Driven by this realization, I took a leap of faith and quit my job—a decision that marked the end of my eight-plus years in HR.
Thus, Aruniti was born—a brand that symbolizes more than just clothing; it’s a celebration of every woman’s inner superhero. My journey led me to Aruniti, where I discovered strength, resilience, and the courage to break free from societal norms. Embrace your inner Aruniti with our comfortable suits, because every superwoman deserves confidence, comfort, and charm.
Why Clothing: I’ve always had a deep passion for fashion, and I love expressing my creativity through DIY clothing projects. I believe that ethnic fashion holds a universal appeal, particularly among women, and I want to share that love with others by starting my own clothing line. Plus, the clothing industry offers a lot of room for creativity and growth, which makes it an exciting venture to pursue.
Now, I’m a happy mom and a determined entrepreneur, navigating the challenges and joys of both roles.
